2020 is, of course, proving to be a roller coaster.
The big news is my reunion with Rosie for one night only, March 22nd, 2020 on Broadway.com. 7pm EST. We’ll all be at home and it will be good to connect and hopefully spread a little joy. I’m so proud of my days on the now legendary daytime talk show.
I kicked off the year with my first-ever production of one of my very favorite shows, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS! It was so great to be back in Pittsburgh (I went to college there and have long considered it a second home) – and I was happy to continue my relationship with the fantastic Pittsburgh Public Theater and its artistic director, Marya Sea Kaminski, who directed LITTLE SHOP! Our cast, crew & orchestra were truly sensational!
In February I did a bunch of concerts with the great Little Anthony throughout south Florida. He’s a legend, literally in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He puts on a terrific show with a guaranteed standing ovation every night. Morover, he’s a gentleman and a joy both on and off stage!
Lots of other stuff had been brewing for spring & summer – at this writing on March 21st, I’m still optimistic about returning to the O’Neill for my 8th season as artistic director of the Cabaret & Performance conference in August!
And who knows about Europe at the end of the summer – I am certainly delighted to have been invited to do another Playbill Cruise in Aug/Sept, sailing between Rome & Barcelona! Check out the details here –
Stay tuned for SO MUCH MORE!!
